We happened to walk by and decided to give them a try. It turned out to be a nice experience. I had a Pismo Smash burger which was excellent as the beef was juicy and flavorful and served on a nice soft brioche roll. It came with fries that were cooked just right. My wife had the omelette with shredded tri-tip, country fries and a biscuit and gravy side. The generous portion of meat was very tasty as were the country fries. The gravy on the biscuit had the right balance of sausage and pepper flavoring. We will definitely visit them again.

Have been excited to try this place since they opened And finally got to this morning. The pork chops and eggs were PERFECT. Pork chop Could not have had better flavoring And my eggs were cooked exactly how I wanted them. My boyfriend went out on a limb & had eggs Benedict (He always orders the same thing at breakfast restaurants…a classic boring breakfast haha) and He had to try a slide up the biscuits and gravy. He was beyond happy with his decision, ate every bite, and is currently in a food coma on the couch . Excited to recommend and eat again In the near future. I will also mention we do not need out like we used since having a baby recently, so me Taking the time To write this and promising our return says a lot .

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Title: Sylvia for President (No, Emperor) I came in expecting food. Instead, I encountered Sylvia — a once-in-a-generation waitress, a walking serotonin factory, a chaotic-good icon. From the moment she showed up, it felt like the universe personally assigned her to our table. Sylvia didn’t just take our order. She connected with us. Like, on a suspiciously deep level. I’m pretty sure she knew what I wanted before I did. Drinks refilled themselves. Food arrived flawlessly. Jokes landed. Vibes were immaculate. If hospitality were an Olympic sport, Sylvia would already have the gold and be breaking world records while smiling. Every interaction felt effortless, hilarious, and somehow made us feel like VIPs in her personal sitcom. At one point I forgot I was in a restaurant and not being hosted by a benevolent chaos wizard in an apron. The kitchen clearly respects her. Gravity respects her. I respect her. Sylvia does not simply deserve a raise. She deserves multiple raises, a crown, and the authority to make executive decisions for society at large. I would absolutely follow her into battle, brunch, or global leadership. 10/10 experience. Would come back just to see Sylvia again. Management: pay her more immediately before she realizes she could rule the world — because she absolutely could.

I ordered the French toast, biscuit and gravy. While my mom ordered the eggs bennidict. The French toast tasted like vanilla and cinnamon. Also had a small bit of salt but not overwhelming. The gravy was delishous. Just the right amount of beef, salt and pepper. And the biscuit was fluffy and buttery.

Rarely do I order breakfast without reaching for the salt and pepper shakers. Eggs and potatoes almost always need a little help. Same with biscuits and gravy. Im used to adding pepper, a shot of Tabasco or Tapatio, and then asking for extra gravy because most places are pretty stingy with it. Honey Im Home completely broke that pattern for me. First visit, place is still new and already hopping. Long cozy room, brick arch into the kitchen, big screens with relaxing travel scenes and a mix of locals and tourists. Their HIM branding is clever and the tan mugs have a fun beachy almost Hawaiian tiki vibe that fits Pismo. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and the Chile Verde omelet with country potatoes. The biscuits were buried in sausage gravy, not a skimpy drizzle. Mix of regular sausage and hot sausage, rich and peppery so I never touched the salt, pepper or hot sauce. The Chile Verde omelet came stuffed with meat and cheese, sauce and cheese spilling out, and the potatoes had color and seasoning instead of being pale and bland. My wife got the Mans Best Friend omelet with crispy hash browns. Same deal. Packed with filling, hash browns crisp outside and soft inside. She usually does not like gravy at all, tried a bite of mine and actually said it was good. That alone says a lot. Service was excellent. Coffee kept coming, food came out hot, and Ed who I believe is the owner has great positive energy and makes you feel welcome. Portions, flavor, freshness, temperature and customer service were all spot on. I almost always find something to nitpick. Here I honestly dont. Pismo is a tourist town and a lot of spots are more about the scene than the food. Honey Im Home has both. Feels good to be there and the food is legit comfort food done right. If you are looking for breakfast or brunch that tastes like real down home cooking in the middle of the tourist strip, this is it. Strong recommendation.

Met a friend for lunch here and it was great! The food was delicious and the server was so sweet and helpful. The menu had a lot to choose from for breakfast and lunch. I ended up getting the “It’s Not Crack Waffle Combo” with their signature cinnamon vanilla waffle served with 2 eggs and your choice of breakfast potato and bacon or sausage links! It was excellent! Highly recommend coming here! Will be back to try the other delicious sounding things on the menu! They also have home made ice cream that is amazing! Go check them out!
